These shoes are quite demanding on ankle strength. They require a lot of ankle support, and while I personally have strong ankles, they still felt a bit sore after wearing them for a long time at first. However, it gets better with time. If you're used to Nike spikes, you might feel like these are slipping off at first, but you'll get used to it. The curves feel smooth, and you don't have to worry about twisting your ankle like you might with the Maxfly. They're also very lightweight and bouncy.
