The shoes provide a snug feel, and the touch on the ball is more responsive. When I opened the package, there was a pleasant scent. However, since they're new, they haven't stretched out yet, so they feel a bit tight at first. I recommend going a half or full size up when purchasing, but it doesn't affect playing. Overall, they're really great.
